VETERINARIANS:
Dr. Sara B. Neuman, DVm
Dr. Neuman is the head doctor and part owner of the Vinegar Hill Veterinary Group clinic. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Following graduation, she moved to New York City with her then future husband and colleague, and began practicing in the Lower East Side. Dr. Neuman recently moved to Brooklyn and decided to open a practice after falling in love with the DUMBO area. Dr. Neuman’s veterinary interests include avian/exotic medicine and small animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Neuman is currently living in the Prospect Heights area of Brooklyn with her husband, a beautiful dog Nora, and three perfect cats named Hank, Ian, and Annabelle.
Dr. Bunni Tan, dvm, Acupuncture
Dr. Tan is a native New Yorker and a 2001 graduate of the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. During three years of service at the SPCA's Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital, she performed multiple veterinary roles in general practice, emergency, surgery, shelter medicine, and expert witness in abuse cases. She has appeared on Animal Planet's Animal Precinct. Dr. Tan has also worked as an after-hours emergency clinician in Brooklyn for over two years. In 2007, she took the acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine course at the Chi Institute in Reddick, Florida. She is excited to provide a complementary treatment option for pets with health conditions unresponsive or poorly responsive to Western medicine.
VETERINARY TECHNICIANS:
Jean Andrew, lvt.
Jean graduated from Fiorello H.LaGuardia C.C. in 2001. Jean had always wanted to become a vet when she was a young girl, but life sent her in a different field. She worked for The Bank of New York for about 10 years. She decided one day she needed a change in her life. She packed up and went to Greece in an effort find herself. She did. Working days and going to school in the evenings paid off. Now you can find Jean doing what she loves best, caring for animals and her family. Jean was always surrounded with pets when growing up; dog, rabbits and birds. It is to no surprise why she lives with 1 husky/shepard mix,6 rabbits,pair of eclectus and 4 lovebirds. Jean also shares her life with husband Rick and son Alex.
Corrine Delleo
Corrine has been working as a veterinary technician for 5 years now. Helping and caring for animals is her passion. Since she was a young girl she always knew helping animals would be a major part of her life. At home, Corrine lives with two rescued pets - Roxanne, the pleasantly plump 10 year old beagle and Layla (whom she has had since the day Layla was born and bottle fed her), is her crazy three year old tuxedo kitty.

Shara Chesney
Shara is our latest addition to the VH team. She's a lover and friend to the furry and scaly alike, having grown up in New Orleans with an assortment of animals including fish, a pig, 3 birds, 5 rabbits, 2 ferrets, 2 dogs, 3 cats and 9 siblings. She landed in New York this past summer after a five year stay in England and has since made Vinegar Hill a second home. She keeps the front desk in order and the office fashionable (wardrobe tips are free of charge). She lives in north Brooklyn with her two rescue dogs – Bee, the happy hyper boxer-pitt and Sir Basil Cuan, the distinguished casanova dachshund.
